Just came back after staying in camp for 3 days.. (_ _)zzzZZZ quite tired but satisfying because i obtained marksmanship! =D Praise God! out of 68 soldiers who went for the AdvancedFire Training Program, 18 had obtained marksman with the highest of 25 hits followed by 24 then 23 and 22. i managed to get 23 while 2 of my friends in my group had 22. I m glad to be friends with them bcos i can be there to spur them on even when they were down. one of them, i call him "Dark horse". he had only 10 hits in the day shoot, n he needs to obtain a full score for the night shoot. i told him, "dun lose heart... believe that u can do it, have faith in yourself..." the same i told for those who were in my firing detail. i also gave them tips on how to aim n have a better chance to hit the targets. the end result: my detail is the strongest of all the firing details, with 4 marksman and 2 others with a score of 21 hits each, shy of 1 hit to marksman, Praise the Lord! when i saw one of them was the Dark Horse, i told him:" You've done The Immpossible!" he said the same thing too. we were all so happy. when we were on the bus, he told me that he was actually trembling for the last n final shot to get the marksman until he remembered what i told him. he fired n hit the target. now, we r all bonded even closer bcos of the shoot. though my other 3 friends didn't get marksman, i told them this:"don't worry. in my eyes, u all are marksman." they were all shy of 1 hit to obtain marksman. for the combat shoot coming, we hope to be in the same team bcos we are all strong shooters, therefore giving us a great chance of obtaining marksman for the entire team.

on the bus, while on the way back to camp, a thought suddenly came back to my mind, a lesson i gone through in FT1. the 5 keys to success. 1) Vision, 2) Believe, 3) Prayer, 4) Receive and 5) Act. indeed, in order to succeed in life, we must first have a vision from God ( somehow, i had a prompting to get run down for marksmanship because there was a stirring that i'll get it.) After i obtained a rundown for it, i believed in it, God and myself. As i continued believing in it, i prayed for his Guidance, Peace and Strength as well as fair weather. i asked my cell group to pray for me as well for i know that there is power in corperate prayer. After Praying, I believe with all my heart that i received it and went on with the shoot. Lastly, i acted on it. the 1st few days were practice shoots, which i didn't do so well. on the actual day of the test, i obtained 15 hits out of 16 and 8 hits of 12, making a total of 23. to obtain marksman, u need to hit at least 22 targets of 28. indeed, God common grace is present for what i told my friends to encourage them were actually biblical principles. Great is the Lord! Amen!
